Here are just a few photos from the past weekend, celebrating the 80 years of life God has given Great Grandpa Steele.
We're so thankful for this sweet man, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to list a few of his roles.

Sledding!!!!

There was some snow in Nashville over Christmas, so we got to break out the old sleds and enjoy. It was Hannah's first experience with sledding, and I don't think she knew what to make of it. :)

Getaway to Asheville!

Cris and I got to goto Asheville together on December 11th and 12th while my parents came to Knoxville and took care of the baby. We had a great time! We stayed in a Victorian B&B a few miles outside of Asheville (with a fireplace) that we enjoyed.

We couldn't come to a place like this and not make fun of the style in the bathroom. We have concluded that we prefer a more modern style at places like this. I guess we're just part of the new, youthful generation that doens't like frill and floral stuff everywhere.

This is a view of the outside of our B&B. As you can see, we got about 4 inches of snow that night!

The snow also made for a scary drive home through the mountains.
